About Us

Stone’s Pet Shop has been serving the Monterey Peninsula since 1957. It was started by Don and Nancy Stone, who were teachers in the Pacific Grove School District.

Thanks to the local community, and their support of local business, Stone’s has flourished. We now have two retail stores and a popular Self Service Pet Wash.

The loyal Stone’s customers have voted us the Best Pet Shop in Monterey County eight times, and Stone’s is the only Green Certified pet store in Monterey County.
